What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

HBOT is a painless treatment used to heal problem wounds. The treatment sessions occur in a transparent chamber containing 100 percent oxygen. This type of treatment enables the blood to carry up to 20 times the amount of oxygen to the body's tissues, triggering a patient's natural wound healing abilities to function more efficiently and to fight infection better.
