The Carriage House is an ODA licensed facility to provide basic assisted living service. We have a range of services for older adults with a commitment to personal wellness and meeting each resident's individual needs. The care provided is driven by the goals that each resident holds important. Residents enjoy cozy and spacious apartments, access to a beautifully landscaped terrace and barbecue grill for gathering with close friends, a beauty/barber shop for a moment of personal pampering and washers and dryers on each floor for personal laundry. Our many on-campus services are here for the residents' convenience to use and enjoy.

Amenities
The Carriage House is our residents' home, and we strive to promote the comfort and security that comes when one is at home. A standard feature of our spacious one-bedroom apartments is a kitchenette with a range, refrigerator and microwave. Each apartment is unfurnished, allowing individuals to bring cherished possessions which create the personal warmth of home. Other amenities include:
- Wall-to-wall carpeting and window blinds.
- Eat-in kitchenette with stove, refrigerator and microwave.
- Individual climate control for heat and air conditioning.
- Ability to personalize space by selecting from approved paint color and carpeting options.
- Emergency call system in every apartment living room and bathroom plus individual Lifeline pendants for each resident's ongoing safety.
- Sit-down shower feature in bathroom.
- Smoke alarm and automatic sprinkler system.
- Individualized mailboxes for incoming mail and a post box for outgoing mail.

Residents also take special monthly outings to museums, local plays, sunset boat tours on Lake Erie, musical theater groups, local apple orchards, and wineries.
Short-term & Trial Living at The Carriage House
If you or a loved one have been thinking about senior living or assisted living, Carriage House now offers two great options to see all that Carriage House has to offer, without commitment. Short-term stays and trial living are ideal for seniors who are curious as to what assisted living is as well as for caretakers who may need a short-term stay for a loved one.
Short-term Living
Short-term stays allow family members to have a safe and healthy environment to place senior relatives while the family is away from town or if caregiver has a procedure and is unable to care for loved one for a short time

Trial Living
Trial living is ideal for those who want to see what living at Carriage House is like without the commitment
- $179 furnished/day; $125 unfurnished/day
- Minimum of a 3 month stay
