Fisher-Titus is pleased to announce that Ashley Ballah, MHA, FACHE, RDMS, RVT, was recently recognized on Healthcare Innovation’s 40 Under 40 Awards list. This award list recognizes young individuals from across the country in the healthcare industry that exhibit extraordinary characteristics in their organizations.
Ballah was nominated for her numerous accomplishments and measured success as the Director of North Central Emergency Medical Services (NCEMS), a non-profit ambulance company owned and operated by Fisher-Titus Affiliated Services.
Under her leadership, NCEMS improved dispatching processes and efficiencies, increased staffing, and improved employee morale and patient experiences. Ballah secured funding for a Community Paramedicine Rural Pilot Program, reducing 911 calls and improving healthcare outcomes. She also tackled paramedic turnover by implementing scholarships and incentive programs.
Ballah's commitment to providing high quality healthcare in North Central Ohio is evident in her initiatives, such as structured onboarding processes, advocating for wage increases, fostering partnerships, and actively seeking funding opportunities for improvements.
“Ashley is invaluable to the organization with a track record of success in her time as Director of North Central EMS,” said Matt Mattner, Chief Operations Officer at Fisher-Titus. “I am happy that we were able to promote her to Senior Director of Ancillary Services at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.”
In her new position as Senior Director of Ancillary Services, Ballah oversees Pharmacy, Imaging, and Laboratory Services for Fisher-Titus Health, demonstrating her dedication to Fisher-Titus and the people in the communities served.
