The 34th Annual Fisher-Titus Foundation Golf Outing presented by Janotta & Herner was held on Wednesday, August 2 at Eagle Creek Golf Course. This year’s event raised roughly $75,000 to place life-saving equipment on North Central EMS ambulances in our community. Fisher-Titus and Janotta & Herner representatives together at the 34th Annual Fisher-Titus Foundation Golf Outing

The golf outing included 132 golfers on 33 foursomes, with 80 sponsors and over 60 volunteers helping to make this the most successful in the history of the event.

“North Central EMS is overwhelmed by the community support at this year’s golf tournament,” said Ashley Ballah, director, North Central EMS. “We are so thankful to have the funds to support purchasing new equipment that helps us to continue to provide high quality EMS services.”

Remarkably, there was a hole-in-one winner this year. Thomas Dragar, playing on the FHT Advisors Team, hit a 142-yard hole-in-one on the par 3 Hole #8, winning a 3-year lease on a 2023 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Big Horn Truck from the Ken Ganley Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram.

Proceeds from the 2023 Golf Outing will make vital improvements to EMS care by adding four Zoll AutoPulse CPR devices and a Zoll ventilator to North Central EMS ambulances. The equipment will provide uninterrupted chest compressions and respiratory support in the field and while EMTs and paramedics are moving patients.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support for the Fisher-Titus Foundation golf outing and of local care,” said Angie Smith, director, Fisher-Titus Foundation. “It is always a great time for a great cause. This year’s outing broke another record and will place roughly $75,000 in life-saving equipment in service on North Central EMS ambulances—4 CPR devices and a ventilator.”

“Every year, the proceeds of our golf outing have a profound impact on patient care,” said Angie Smith, director, Fisher-Titus Foundation. ”For more than 100 years, philanthropic efforts have supported and expanded Fisher-Titus’ mission to meet the health care needs of our patients and the community. I hope those who supported this year’s golf outing feel part of this legacy and take pride in paying it forward.”

Last year’s Golf Outing helped support the renovation of Fisher-Titus’ second cardiac catheterization lab. Cumulatively, the 34 Fisher-Titus Foundation Golf Tournaments have made over $1 million in strategic improvements to health care programs and services available in our community at Fisher-Titus, Norwalk Memorial Home, North Central EMS, and The Carriage House.
